Welcome to The Mosaic

The Village Mosaic is a church planting project designed to created relevant, reproducible churches in Japan and throughout East Asia. In these churches you won't find a steeple, hymnal, or pew, but you will find people passionate for Jesus who are gathering to break bread together while studying the apostle's teachings and worshiping together.

Our ministry philosophy has three major focus points: communion, community, and commission. These are taught and passed on through discipleship. Communion consists of prayer, fasting, worship, meditation, and sharing the Lord's Supper. Community is where we as believers gather to experience and share life together. This happens in homes, cafes, beaches, river banks, and wherever people live their lives. Commission is the church's expression of Christ's incarnation, and is recognizable through sacrificial giving, serving, and going to the ends of the Earth to share the great news of God's ultimate gift to man.
