As missionaries we've been priveleged to have many of you serve as our own "Street Team," promoting our ministry, finding financial supporters, and helping us get speaking engagements.

Many Christians have a passion for missions, but can't go overseas for a number of reasons. Even more, many want to participate, but are unable to participate financially. As part of a "Street team," you can be directly involved in church planting without going overseas.

Put simply, we love your support, and we're going to do everything we can to make it easy for you to participate in the ministry. Here on our "Street Team" page we'll do our best to offer you materials and information that will help spread the word.

Want to start a Street Team? It's easy, just consider how you might do one or more of the following:

• Help us promote the cause and people group that God has called us to. Get your hands on as much information as possible about our people group (primarily Japan) and information on our team. Then pass this on to Christians you know in your home group, church, office, etc...
• Create a bulletin board at your church with pertinent facts on the Japanese and quick bullet points of how your church members can pray for them. Be Creative! (One church even put small boards over the urinals in the men's rest room!)
• Contact your home group leader or pastor and help coordinate a time where someone from our team can come speak about the Village Mosaic and our church planting efforts in East Asia. We're glad to come and share for 5-10 minutes, show a video, or preach a sermon. If you're interested in mobilizing your church, small group, or youth, we would be excited to plan a mobilization event to excite them about missions.
• Help us develop our support team by lobbying on our behalf. Many missionaries find it incredibly hard to ask for money, yet they work very hard in a sacrificial lifestyle to expand God's Kingdom. You as a third party can speak loudly to your friends about the needs for missionaries on the field.
• Consider hosting a support raising event such as a dinner or yard sale.
• Help us build our mailing list. Just distributing our newsletter is a great way to get people praying for our team and the ministry here. Once someone agrees to receive our mailings, they can sign up online right here.
• Send one of our team members a care package (or come over for a visit and bring it yourself!) There are many small odds and ends that we've grown to love in the US that we can't get overseas. An occassional treat from home here and there can mean a world of difference.
• Keep an eye posted on this page, as new needs arrive, we'll put them online to get the word out.
